These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and HookMeApp, Inc. (“HookMeApp,” “we,” “us”), a Delaware corporation. They govern your use of hookmeapp.com and its waitlist.
1. Acceptance
By using the site or submitting the waitlist form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist.
3. The service today
HookMeApp is pre-launch. The site currently offers a waitlist for our Chicago launch. It does not yet offer booking, payments, reviews, or pro listings. Features described on the marketing pages are planned and may change.
4. Waitlist signups
- Submitting the form is a request to be notified — not a promise that we will launch, or that you will receive access.
- Provide accurate information; one signup per person.
- Joining the waitlist is free.
- We may remove or decline signups at our discretion (for example, spam or duplicate entries).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or another person's information.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Bypass or interfere with the bot-protection check.
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The HookMeApp name, logo, and site content are owned by HookMeApp, Inc. and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.
7. Third-party services
We use Cloudflare (bot protection and data storage). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. When booking and payments launch, they will be provided by third-party payment processors under separate terms.
8. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any planned feature will launch on a particular date.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookMeApp, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HookMeApp, Inc. harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to resolve disputes through the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.
